Keep Keys guides keeping on, and throw down for bonefish, barracuda, and permit at the catch-and-release Sugarloaf Showdown at Sugarloaf Marina on Nov. 13 to 15, 2014.
The inshore tourney, hosted by the Lower Keys Guides Association, is a fundraiser for the Guides Trust Foundation. The trust provides emergency means for fishing guides in the Keys who’ve been injured or are recovering from illness.
“This team event is limited to three per boat, with only two fishing. Bonefish, barracuda and permit catches will targeted and prizes awarded.”
Cost is $250 per 2-person team and includes a kick-off dinner and Awards Celebration at the Sugarloaf Lodge Tiki Bar, catered by Three Fine Cooks. Additional meal tickets are available and non-fishing participants are welcome.
The tournament is open to all anglers and guides.
