Plaquemines FlyGuides was created to generate relief income in the wake of the recent oil spill in the Gulf for flyfishing guides and their families, who work year-round, full-time out of Lower Plaquemines Parish. “We’re still out on the water as many days as possible but due to the recent oil spill in the Gulf, charter bookings simply aren’t coming in.” T-shirts, with proceeds earmarked for the cause, are available now, with more items coming soon. Donations can also be made online.
