What we know about Scandinavia is limited to: exceptional meatballs, mandatory mustaches and military service, Ikea, fjords, blah, blah, blah. (Thanks, Wikipedia.) But it’s also home to flyfishing, in addition to killer filmmaking and online content available at Frontsidefly.com.

From the blogs: “The scandinavian fly fishing world is torn into two camps after watching a few boobs!

“Last wednesday, the new norwegian fly fishing magazine “vak” published a few photos of women posing with pikes. Nothing speciall with that, but after a while the audience realised that the women on the photos were toppless. Now that is not everyday bussiness in the scandinavian fly fising world! About half the readers thought this was sexism and a facebook comment fight was breaking out. Now we have been posing toppless a few times, but no one ever seems to think it’s sexism. I guess we are not sexy enough to ever start a fight by showing our bodies.”

And don’t forget to check out some great Nordic edits such as A Melancholy Thing, by Rolf Nylinder, here
