Our friend Nick’s, for instance, is so nice its previous owner, snowboard OG Mikey Basich, shed tears when he forked over the keys to his beloved, fully-customized-all-terrain-super beast. Now we shed tears every time we see it in Nick’s driveway, because we wish it was ours. It turns out the Euros have some nice rigs, too. Steve Casimiro of The Adventure Life explores the Frankenrig renaissance: “Perhaps it’s the promise of potential, of boundless terra firma, but a good all-road camping kit, whether it fits in the back of your Honda Element or its own self-contained unit, can set the heart aflutter just like a well-outfitted sailboat that will take you anywhere the wind blows.
