MICHIGAN—Ice fishing is a dangerous affair. In addition to frostbitten digits, and falling asleep and spilling your drink, you can now add being “fish slapped” to your list of fears.
“Two Egelston Twp, Mich. ice anglers told police a woman from a neighboring shanty struck them in the face with a fish after she asked them to turn their heads while she urinated on the ice. ‘While their backs were turned the woman struck the first complainant in the head with a fish,’ said Norton Shores Police Lt. Jon Gale. ‘The female then approached them and struck the other man across the face with a fish.'”
