Hanks_Blog_AMCBreaking Bad has quickly become one of our favorite, wickedly entertaining dramas on AMC. Turns out ol’ Uncle Hank shares a serious hankering for flyfishing, too. From Hank’s Blog: “This one time, Uncle Hank took me fishing. I know, we live in Albuquerque—where can you fish here? Well, there’s lots of places: Jemez, Pecos. Anyway, he’s, like, really into flyfishing, which is about the most boring thing you can do ever. I know they made some movie about it, but seriously… I’d rather change my sister’s diapers for a whole day than stand in some stream for hours.”

Tom Bie is the founder, editor, and publisher of The Drake. He started the magazine in 1998 as an annual newsprint publication based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He then moved it to Steamboat, Colorado (1999), Boulder, Colorado (2001), and San Clemente, California (2004), as he took jobs as managing editor at Paddler, Senior Editor at Skiing, and Editor-in-Chief at Powder, respectively. Tom and The Drake are now both based in Denver, Colorado, where The Drake is finally all grows up(Swingers, 1996) to a quarterly magazine.
