A Tacoma flyshop was recently jacked to the tune of $40,000. Anil Srivastava, owner of the Puget Sound Fly Company, says burglars snuck in through a vacant space next to the business and snatched a pile of rods, reels, and cash.

According to Komo News, which manages to squeeze some great fishing cliches into its report, “Police are casting a wide net to lure in leads and this fisherman and business owner now waits to see who will take the bait.” 

Srivastava says he’s fishing for a new security system. Smart, considering it’s the second haul to hit the still-afloat business this year.
