The 2015 Sugarloaf Showdown tourney runs from Nov. 12 to 14 at the Sugarloaf Marina and Sugarloaf Lodge Tiki Bar. This year’s catch and release inshore event targets permit, bonefish, and barracuda and is riding on the success of last year’s great turnout.

Lower Keys Guides Association (LKGA) is calling on all guides to take the Showdown challenge and invite their favorite anglers for this “…fun, team event that supports LKGA and the Guides Trust Foundation that offers assistance to guides recovering from illness or injury.”

Title-sponsor Costa is providing guides on each team a pair of sunglasses of their choice. Tournament prizes of original art are being created by native Floridian Travis Luther, whose acrylic 24- x 48-inch paintings of permit, bonefish, and barracuda are badass. Follow Travis and his progress, here.

Registration is $250 per team.
