Finding a few cutt-bows in amongst the browns. Got the hopper from Walter Wiese when he was still working at Parks flyshop in Gardiner, in return for some cream foam sheets I had come across at a local craft store. Didn’t realize the barb was intact; mashed it after I took the pic.

Mash barb/start thread at 3/4 mark; wrap to bend and back

Clean, stack a clump of deer hair; tie in by tips, pull hair to the rear, wrap to bend and back
