kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

A trusted friend; never found a better one. They’re buoyant, even after they’ve been chewed on and they show up pretty well in low light. Swapped out the quill body on the original with biot since I have some sitting here on the bench. The shorter shank hook gives me the body of a #16 with a wider gap, which helps.

Another cool fly from Andrew Grillos; good floatation and visibility. Found a great SBS on Charlie Craven’s site; a few minor changes - swapped out the hackle tail for elk hair and used a single post wing instead of divided; change color and size to suit your needs.

Head-on, it reminds me of Eugene the Jeep from Popeye. If you’re fishing for west slopes on the east slope in MT, you may want some in this color; browns like them, too.

The foamheads were a favor to a friend, but I actually find a standard bullethead a lot easier to tie, although not as durable.

A neat Jingler emerger; swapped out the CDC wing for poly yarn since I have lots of the latter and less of the former. Found it on the Blue Ribbon site; Davie McPhail has a nice video.

5 days on the road; sequestered in my mountain redoubt under quarantine, so I have to break the adhesions and get the synovial fluids moving again. Tied more than enough of the standard variety so added a little partridge up front to break the monotony.

Stuff for the luddites that refuse to step into the 21st century and embrace the Carnage. Tied here skwala-ish; it would work better in motor-oil colors but the olives were on the top of the travel kit and I am inherently lazy.
Here’s the video. Swapped out the polypro indicator for another petrochemical byproduct and used some different leggings, neither of which the fish will care about at all
