Have an older Nikon D5000. I want to buy a macro lens but am totally confused. I see them from 99 bucks all they up into the thousand dollar range? I would like to spend a couple hundred at the most. Help me. :)

consider a nikon supplemental lens (it screws on the front) and/or extension tubes for the lens you have. I'm less expensive than mytch.

Is that ^ English? A lens is almost always as good as what you pay for it. Try Facebook (if you have one) marketplace. Better than CL. The use of plastics have let costs drop a tad while still keeping quality high.
